“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.” (1Peter 4:10-11)
Opportunities to Serve:
Many, if not all, Christians have asked themselves the question: Am I supposed to be in “the ministry?” The answer is, unequivocally, YES–of course you are! The Word of God makes that point very clear. So what is the ministry, anyway? Ministry comes in many forms, taking various sizes, shapes, and applications. Although it can be, ministry itself is not so much and actual job description as it is an internal attitude of the heart, the very desire to serve God by serving others. Whether in your home, your neighborhood, at your job, in your community, your church, or in the world at large–ministry opportunities are limitless, they are everywhere. Because “It’s All About Souls,” ministry opportunities never end!
